And I agree on being with the best people at my fav pubs and I am glad that I don't feel peer pressured anymore on drinking!Josh Grahamehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17617000949170402779noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5166789751959180398.post-34803934171445604842014-03-01T18:13:59.129+00:002014-03-01T18:13:59.129+00:00Thank you Lewis!

I am however happy to go to metal/punk gigs which include all of the above but with good music! It's funny how one thing can change your mind.
I'm much happier in a pub if it's quiet, relaxed and they've got some decent beer on. I've spent many hours (days, weeks, months) in pubs as that is where I am comfortable spending my down time.
You may find that certain pubs are more comfortable for you, they all have different atmospheres and clientele and you should never feel that you "have to" drink alcohol. You seem to have a good bunch of friends who share similar interests to you and that's really the most important thing!
Lindshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14668185812969485765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5166789751959180398.post-87454088150935263042014-02-24T19:50:10.928+00:002014-02-24T19:50:10.928+00:00Great article. I don't think I could begin to explain why I dislike the pub or club environment, but I think it could be something to do with feeling uncomfortable in general. I was never keen on drinking in the first place, so when I am in an environment that literally pushes that lifestyle onto you, I become even more defensive.Lewis Coxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14780213240335170126noreply@blogger.com
